Gryllus Dorka

I graduated from the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Miklós Benedek’s class. While still a first-year student, I shot my first feature film, Érzékek iskolája.

After graduating, I spent five years as a member of the Csiky Gergely Theatre in Kaposvár. I then moved to Berlin. Since then, I have appeared in more than 100 feature films and television productions, and have performed at HAU and the Deutsches Theater in Berlin, the Volksbühne and the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, and PS122 in New York.

I have received Best Actress awards at several international film festivals. I am currently a member of the Loupe Theatre Company.

With the Trojka team, I perform the role of Anna Karenina. My first independent directing project, SZX_MCHN avagy vágyaink meghurcoltatása, is also a Trojka production and is currently on stage at Vörös Neon.
